About the Role:

Clios Finance team is a high-performing group of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional financial results. As an Intermediate Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the teams financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and record financial entries by analyzing account information and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide oversight on financial schedules and reports, including revenue, deferred revenue, accounts receivable, and prepaid expenses.
  • Prepare financial analysis and reporting, focusing on key performance indicators and providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Manage the payables process, review supporting information, and ensure timely payments.
  • Monitor credit card transactions and expense reports to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
  • Review monthly reconciliations of bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and report state, provincial, and federal taxes on a timely basis.
  • Assist in the preparation and support of the tax function, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Prepare audit working papers and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Prepare data-driven reports and implement new processes and procedures to support the companys growth.
  • Assist with reviewing the work of junior team members and provide feedback to ensure their growth and development.
  • Test and adhere to the companys internal financial and operational controls and policies.
  • Liaise with external contacts to resolve issues and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-3 years of experience at an Intermediate Accountant level.
  • Exposure to full-cycle accounting.
  • Ridiculous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, energetic, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Started or considering enrolling in the CPA program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Technology (SaaS) experience.
  • Experience working in a startup, hyper-growth, or public accounting environment.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with NetSuite.
  • Completed Canada or USA CPA designation.
