Job Title: Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Store Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the store, including sales, customer service, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and Control Daily Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the store, ensuring that sales targets are met and customer service standards are maintained.
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and train staff, assign tasks and responsibilities, and ensure that all employees are meeting performance expectations.
  • Study Market Research and Trends: Stay up-to-date with market research and trends to determine consumer demand and adjust store operations accordingly.
  • Determine Merchandise and Services: Decide on the types of merchandise and services to be sold in the store, based on customer demand and market research.
  • Locate, Select, and Procure Merchandise: Source and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets quality and pricing standards.
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute marketing plans to attract and retain customers.
  • Plan Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Develop and manage budgets, track revenues and expenses, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Determine Staffing Requirements: Assess staffing needs and make recommendations for hiring or training staff.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Recruit, Hire, and Supervise Staff: Recruit, hire, and train staff, and ensure that they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Oversee Payroll Administration: Manage payroll, including processing paychecks and benefits.
