Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our administration department as an Operations Director. This role will involve overseeing inventory management, contract compliance, new ERP software implementation, and managing cash flow and accounts payable/receivable functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the transition to new manufacturing and accounting software systems
  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking and cost reduction initiatives
  • Review financial data for internal use and strategic planning
  • Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including collections and cash flow management
  • Handle payments through secure financial channels
  • Manage administrative staff and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Oversee IT contractors and recommend infrastructure improvements
  • Monitor artist contracts and royalty payments
  • Collaborate with team members to drive solutions and improve business outcomes

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills in accounting and finance
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or administrative role
  • Educational background in accounting, business, or a related field
  • Effective communication and IT skills
  • Canadian Citizenship or PR status
  • Experience in a manufacturing company or similar industry
