Warehouse Operations Specialist - Burnaby, BC
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team in Burnaby, BC. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities, contributing to our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities:
- Load and unload product for trucks, flatbeds, or containers.
- Move products within the warehouse using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment.
- Prepare metal A-frame return shipments and repair/rebuild wooden A-frames for LTL shipments.
- Transport waste from containers to designated dumpsters.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products for damages, ensuring quality control standards are met.
Your Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as cranes, overhead cranes, and forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
