Job Title: Driver, Transport

YEG MOVERS LTD. is seeking a reliable and skilled Transport Driver to join our team. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer to transport goods and materials to various locations.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring they are properly secured and protected.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Operate and maintain the vehicle, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:

As a Transport Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines. You will be required to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
