Job Summary

Mega Transport Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee condition of vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, perform emergency roadside repairs, and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Work Conditions: Attention to detail, sitting.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, reliability.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
