Job Summary:

Premium Beauty Media is seeking an experienced Technical Data Innovation Manager to lead our cosmetic powders lab. As a key member of our Research & Innovation team, you will drive our product pipeline and competitive positioning through cutting-edge research and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Research and Innovation: Direct research and adoption of technologies to cement our leadership in powder cosmetics, ranging from ingredients to processing methods.
  • Identify New Opportunities: Pinpoint and plan new innovation opportunities by leveraging consumer insights and market trends.
  • Pioneer Formulas: Develop pioneering formulas through re-engineering benchmarks, reformulations, chassis development, and supplier collaborations.
  • Lead Experimentation: Head disciplined experimentation via DOE to create differentiated powder products.
  • Oversee Innovation Projects: Oversee concurrent innovation projects from formula design through commercialization.
  • Mentor and Train: Build institutional knowledge by mentoring scientists and chemists on development best practices.
  • Manufacturing Support: Provide ongoing manufacturing support through scale-up guidelines and issue resolution.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure formula compliance, safety, and alignment with quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, preferably Chemistry.
  • Extensive experience in cosmetic formulation, including powder R&D.
  • Leadership ability and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and coaching skills.
