Key Responsibilities:- Conduct audits of supplier facilities to evaluate compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate supplier documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify critical components and materials, establishing audit criteria accordingly.
- Provide timely and detailed audit reports, outlining findings, non-conformities, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Work closely with suppliers to address non-conformities, implement corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement in quality processes.
- University Degree in a relevant field (science, engineering, etc.).
- ASQ – Certified Quality Auditor or equivalent.
- Certificate in ISO auditing or equivalent.
- 5+ years of proven experience in auditing of shipbuilding, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, etc.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS 9100 or equivalent Quality Management Systems.
- In-depth knowledge of shipbuilding materials, processes, and industry standards would be an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to travel to supplier locations for on-site audits.
