R&D Pilot Facilities Coordinator Job Description

At McCain Foods, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Pilot Facilities Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Research and Development department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of new products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the setup and execution of pilot trials, ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are available.
  • Work closely with the trial lead to ensure trials are conducted safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including HACCP and food safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in a manufacturing or processing environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide others.
