Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our capital development and facilities planning efforts. As the Director of Capital Development, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of major hospital development and redevelopment projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct project planning, design, construction, and implementation of capital facility development projects
  • Develop and implement capital and operating budgets, including authorization, control, and reporting of expenditures
  • Ensure facilities are planned, designed, and constructed to meet clinical outcomes and align with the latest standards and best practices in health facility design
  • Collaborate with department leaders to provide advice and problem resolution on design and construction issues
  • Oversee strategic and conceptual planning, design, and implementation of major hospital redevelopment and expansion projects
Requirements
  • Master's degree and professional designation in a relevant discipline
  • 10 years of recent related experience in progressively more complex and senior management leadership roles
  • Demonstrated knowledge of facilities project delivery processes, including planning, design, construction, and procurement
  • Ability to effectively manage major facilities projects from concept to completion
