Join the American Iron & Metal team as an Industrial Maintenance Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to assume the role of Industrial Maintenance Lead within our organization. In this position, you will play a vital role in managing maintenance and repair operations for our industrial machinery. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the performance and dependability of our equipment, thereby enhancing the overall productivity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct and oversee a team of maintenance specialists, offering direction and support to promote effective collaboration Cultivate a workplace culture centered on safety and ongoing improvement within the maintenance division Design and execute preventive maintenance plans to optimize operational performance Align maintenance efforts with production and operational teams to ensure minimal disruption Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly Perform root cause analysis on persistent issues and implement appropriate corrective measures Regularly assess equipment for indications of wear, damage, or potential failures Manage maintenance initiatives for equipment upgrades, modifications, or replacements as necessary Keep precise records of maintenance tasks and equipment performance metrics Prepare reports on equipment reliability, maintenance expenditures, and downtime for management review

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position:

Must hold a valid 433A Millwright license Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities Proficient in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components Exceptional problem-solving skills Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory requirements in industrial environments Strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance needs
