Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dining Room Server to join our team at Shiso Japanese Restaurant LTD. As a Dining Room Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Serve food and beverages to guests in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Table Management
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Manage table settings and ensure that all necessary items are available for guests.
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
    • Respond to guest requests and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Experience an asset.
  • Skills
    • Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a restaurant environment with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.
  • Work Schedule
    • Work 30 to 40 hours per week.
