About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Custom Furniture Assembler to join our team at 2684374 ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and finishing custom furniture pieces to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study plans and specifications to ensure accurate assembly and finishing of custom furniture pieces
  • Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units, reinforcing joints as needed
  • Sand and finish wooden surfaces, applying veneer, stain, or polish to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products as required
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized and punctual, with excellent teamwork skills
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced production environment, with regular exposure to wood dust and other workshop hazards.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
