Job Title: Custom Furniture Assembler

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Custom Furniture Assembler to join our team at ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and finishing custom furniture pieces to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study plans and specifications to ensure accurate assembly and finishing of custom furniture pieces
  • Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units, reinforcing joints as needed
  • Sand and finish wooden surfaces to a high standard, applying veneer, stain, or polish as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture and fixtures to meet customer requirements

Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and teamwork skills
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week

Working Conditions:

This is a permanent full-time position with 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
