Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, consulting with other medical practitioners, and prescribing and administering medications and treatments. They will also be expected to advise patients on healthcare and coordinate or manage primary patient care.
Responsibilities:- Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
- Advise patients on healthcare
- Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care
- Act as consultants to other physicians
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II)
- 5 years or more of experience in family medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Free parking available
