Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing technical assistance during the commissioning and start-up phases of operations.
- Troubleshooting process-related challenges as they arise.
- Overseeing the performance of Polyethylene Fiber production processes and equipment.
- Analyzing process data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and potential issues.
- Implementing strategies for optimization to improve throughput, yield, and energy efficiency.
- Identifying opportunities for process enhancements and leading initiatives to boost plant performance.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Participating in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Planning and executing plant modifications and upgrades using the Management of Change (MOC) process.
- Providing technical input and support during design, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Collecting and analyzing process data to evaluate plant performance.
- Preparing technical reports and presentations on process performance and project updates.
- Conducting training sessions for operations and maintenance personnel on process operations and safety protocols.
- Developing and updating training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborating closely with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to ensure efficient plant operations.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in refinery or chemical industry operations, process engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in process optimization and troubleshooting within a refinery, petrochemical, or chemical environment.
- Proficiency in process simulation and data analysis software.
- A strong understanding of refinery or chemical processes, equipment, and safety standards.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
