About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at PVP Construction Inc. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formwork and Concrete Placement: Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards. Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade specifications.
  • Finishing and Compaction: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement. Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level the top surface according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Surface Preparation and Finishing: Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools. Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces. Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces as needed. Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • This is a physically demanding role that requires handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail is essential to ensure high-quality finishes.
