We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at KS Concrete Cutting & Coring Ltd.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement, operating power vibrators to compact concrete, and imparting a desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
- Operating power vibrators to compact concrete
- Imparting a desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
- Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
- Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field. They will also be physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Work Environment:
The work site environment will be dusty, noisy, outdoors, and wet/damp.
Security and Safety:
The successful candidate will be bondable.
Personal Suitability:
We are looking for a team player who is willing to work 30 hours per week in a permanent position.
Language:
The primary language of work will be English.
