In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, from data entry and invoice verification to reconciliation and payment processing.

Essential Duties:
  • Sort, code, and accurately enter vendor and manufacturer invoices into our CDK system.
  • Meticulously verify and match invoices against purchase orders for accuracy.
  • Process bi-weekly on-demand cheques and monthly cheque runs efficiently.
  • Handle monthly business office remittances with precision.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, manufacturer statements, and credit card statements to ensure balance.
  • Maintain accurate records of electronic transfer payments and reconcile sublet and payables schedules.
  • Perform filing duties to maintain organized financial records.
  • Contribute to the team by assisting with other accounting-related tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • A solid understanding of the accounting cycle and accounts payable procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and concise interactions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement are highly valued.

Automotive experience and familiarity with CDK software would be considered assets.
