Culinary Operations Associate

The Food Prep Worker plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of food served to our clients. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and portioning food items, adhering to production requirements and Aramark's stringent sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare all food items using standardized recipes and prep lists, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Food Safety and Handling: Follow proper food handling procedures, maintaining accurate rotation of food to ensure top quality and freshness.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain clean and orderly refrigerators and work areas, ensuring stations are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at the end of each shift.
- Inventory Management: Manage leftover foods correctly, covering, labeling, dating, and accurately storing according to Aramark standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
- Experience: Minimum one-year prep work or food service-related work preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of food prep, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation is essential.
- Communication and Math Skills: Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication with others, and demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
