The Role

We are seeking an exceptional teacher to join our team as an On-Call Education Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering classes of regular learning group teachers and may also work as a resource teacher within the school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to excellence in education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of curriculum and influence instruction, assessment, and indigenous education practices.
  • Implement effective strategies to engage and support academic success for all learners in an inclusive environment.
  • Design and apply various assessment techniques to measure and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to enhance the school as a learning community.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Education Degree (Secondary Level)
  • A valid BC Teaching certificate or eligibility for certification through the BC Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB)
