About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Consulting practice as a Principal. As a trusted advisor, you will leverage your expertise in pension plan consulting to develop long-term strategic plans for our clients' defined benefits pension schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive and thoughtful consulting to clients, building and maintaining strong relationships and delivering integrative solutions.
  • Lead and influence internal and external stakeholders, providing a higher level of actuarial consulting to address complex business challenges.
  • Grow the practice within your region by identifying new business opportunities and positioning TELUS Health as a leader in the market.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in pension plan consulting.
  • Solid understanding of various pension schemes and actuarial standards of practice within the Public and Private sectors.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, financial markets, and industry developments and emerging trends related to the pension industry.
  • Proven leadership and mentorship skills, ensuring high-quality deliverables and a collaborative work environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French, with proficiency in English an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
