Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Director of the Vitalité Health Network, the successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide administrative support services to a diverse client base. This individual will be responsible for executing a variety of administrative tasks, including clerical duties, reception, secretarial, medical transcription, and support to healthcare professionals.

The selected candidate will also be required to occasionally replace other administrative support staff under the direction of the Vitalité Health Network and assume any other related tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals and teams
  • Execute a variety of administrative tasks, including clerical duties, reception, secretarial, medical transcription, and support to healthcare professionals
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide administrative support services to a diverse client base
  • Occasionally replace other administrative support staff under the direction of the Vitalité Health Network
  • Assume any other related tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Diploma of Secondary Education or General Education Development (GED) plus a minimum of one year of administrative support training or equivalent
  • One year of previous experience is required
  • Practical knowledge of computer applications, including Meditech and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job
  • Good work history (attendance and productivity)
  • Adherence to professional ethics, the management philosophy of the Vitalité Health Network, and the organization's values
  • Respect for the confidentiality rules of the Vitalité Health Network
