About the Role

BEL Contracting, a leading provider of heavy civil infrastructure services, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our team in delivering complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to specifications.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of professionals to safely meet project milestones, manage project performance, and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Contract Management: Review contracts, plans, and specifications to determine scope of work and define project requirements and milestones.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain solid, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Proposal Development: Work on project pursuits and lead proposal efforts, when required.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior team members to develop their skills.
  • Claims and Change Orders: Manage claims and change orders.
Requirements
  • P.Eng, technical diploma, or extensive industry experience.
  • 8+ years' experience managing all aspects of heavy civil construction from project start to project closeout in Canada.
  • Onsite project management experience on large-scale heavy civil infrastructure and transportation projects.
  • Ability to effectively manage new client development, client issues, complaints, and inquiries.
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Projects skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management, prioritization, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, where collaboration is key to success.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to work in a confidential, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Valid Driver's License.
What We Offer

A permanent, full-time position with a typical salary starting from $110,000 per annum, plus other benefits subject to program eligibility.
