Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at DRYDEN CHEVROLET BUICK GMC LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
Requirements:
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, standing for extended periods, and will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots.
