Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at DRYDEN CHEVROLET BUICK GMC LTD. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify issues and malfunctions
  • Perform repairs and replacements of parts and components
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to ensure they meet manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
Requirements:
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and standing for extended periods.
