Job Title: Metal Products Manufacturing Sandblaster

We are seeking a skilled Metal Products Manufacturing Sandblaster to join our team at Umbrella Group of Companies.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish.
  • Read and interpret work orders.
  • Operate a forklift.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Own transportation.
  • Public transportation is not available.
Work Environment:

The work environment is dusty, hot, and noisy. The successful candidate must be willing to work at heights and handle heavy loads.
