About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team at Dspot Desserts. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dessert shop, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our team is equipped to handle high volumes of customers and orders.

Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Lead and motivate our team of dessert preparers and servers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards of quality and customer service.

Ensure Quality Control

Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that our desserts and customer service meet our high standards, making adjustments as needed to maintain our reputation for excellence.

Manage Budget and Resources

Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that our resources are allocated effectively to meet our business goals.

Address Customer Concerns

Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Prepare Reports and Summaries

Prepare detailed reports and summaries for our chef and management team, providing insights and recommendations to improve our operations and customer service.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment

Work in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of customers and orders, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.

Attention to Detail

Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that our desserts and customer service meet our high standards of quality.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Language

English language proficiency.
