About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to work on a variety of projects, including earthworks, site remediation, and solid waste management. You will be working closely with our business lead and managers to deliver high-quality designs that meet our clients' needs.

As a Civil Engineer at GHD, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and rewarding projects, collaborating with a global team of specialists. You will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and delivering civil engineering projects, including earthworks, site remediation, and solid waste management.
  2. Working closely with our business lead and managers to ensure project delivery meets our clients' needs.
  3. Developing and verifying technical scopes of projects.
  4. Completing civil designs within budget and schedule.
  5. Participating in design coordination meetings and addressing critical issues.
  6. Ensuring quality control processes are followed.
  7. Mentoring and developing junior staff.
  8. Representing GHD at client meetings.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • P. Eng certification in Ontario.
  • Minimum of 5 years of extensive technical design experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in civil design delivery for larger, multi-discipline projects.
  • Experience working in a Design-Build environment.
  • Detailed understanding of local Agency Codes and Standards.
  • Experience working in an integrated 3D environment.
  • Team building and mentoring skills.
