About the Role: We are excited to announce the formation of the Men's Wellbeing Network and are seeking a motivated Community Engagement Officer to enhance our outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships between East of England Ambulance Service and other health organizations with shared goals.
  • Identify and pursue networking opportunities and events in the region.
  • Act as a liaison with external event coordinators on behalf of the Men's Wellbeing Network.
  • Facilitate connections between men and mentors or role models.
  • Coordinate social gatherings for network members and colleagues.

Our Mission: The Men's Wellbeing Network (MWN) aims to create a supportive space for men and those identifying as men to openly discuss mental health issues, enhancing the workplace experience and addressing gender-specific challenges.

Leadership: The network is spearheaded by Dr. Hein Scheffer, Executive Director of Strategy, Culture, and Education.

Goals:

  • Foster inclusion and support for all staff members.
  • Empower men to achieve their fullest potential.
  • Encourage positive transformation within the organization.
  • Improve men's mental health to enhance workplace culture and patient care.
  • Leverage men's influence to promote societal inclusion and impact policy.
