About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Application Consultant to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you'll play a critical role in delivering complex, enterprise-scale mobile projects that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cost-effective and innovative solutions that enhance the client experience across both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Lead the planning and strategy for the technical design, development, and integration of mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Develop multi-year technology roadmaps that align with the bank's vision, strategy, and business goals.
  • Lead multiple complex projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in application development, Unix, Java, JBoss, Oracle, MQ, MS SQL, and IIS.
  • Experience with software delivery methodologies and a strong understanding of large enterprise infrastructure.
  • Ability to guide junior developers and mentor intermediate and senior developers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
