We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at 2405521 Ontario Inc. as a Procurement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, negotiating prices and credit terms, and ensuring adequate stock levels.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Sourcing: Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
- Merchandise Selection: Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring it meets our quality and pricing standards.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain contact with suppliers, negotiate prices and credit terms, and ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
- Inventory Management: Maintain adequate stock levels, monitor inventory turnover, and implement strategies to reduce waste and excess inventory.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of procurement activities.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
