Key Responsibilities- Animal Care: Diagnose and treat livestock health issues, monitor animal health, and maintain livestock performance records.
- Farm Operations: Feed and tend animals, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and formulate feeding programs.
- Milk Production: Milk cows and maintain quality control and production records.
- General Farm Duties: Perform general farm duties, including maintaining work records and logs.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Work Environment: Outdoors, dusty, hot, noisy, odorous, wet/damp, cold/refrigerated, dairy, and all weather conditions.
- Work Setting: Rural area, staff accommodation available, and remote location.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Feeding and watering system, milking system (automated), tractor, farm truck, loader.
- Area of Specialization: Dairy cattle.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation not available.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, handling heavy loads, large workload, sound discrimination.
