Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Canadian Tire 351. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card, and debit payments.
  • Operate a cash register and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining store displays.
  • Participate in inventory management and control.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
