Bakery Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team at LOVELY PAO INC. The ideal candidate will have experience in a bakery setting and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough and batters: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Requisition and order materials: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters: Bake mixed dough and batters to produce high-quality baked goods.
  • Prepare special orders: Prepare special orders for customers, including decorating cakes and baked goods.
  • Operate machinery: Operate machinery, including mixers and ovens, to produce baked goods.
  • Organize and maintain inventory: Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
  • Oversee sales and merchandising: Oversee the sales and merchandising of baked goods, including displaying products and managing inventory.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work setting: Supermarket or bakery department.
  • Tasks: Attention to detail, manual dexterity, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery setting.

  • Attention to detail: Ability to pay attention to detail and ensure high-quality products.
  • Manual dexterity: Ability to use hands and fingers to operate machinery and prepare baked goods.
  • Physically demanding: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

  • Standing for extended periods: Ability to stand for extended periods, including during peak hours.
  • Work under pressure: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
