Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through tarping and other measures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other drivers and logistics personnel to achieve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess an AZ class license.

  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced logistics environment, with a typical workweek of 50 hours.
