We are a leading roofing and exterior services company seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including sales tax and other applicable taxes.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Process payroll and benefits for employees, including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
