About the Role

Landmark Structures, a leading provider of engineering, construction, and asset management services, is seeking a skilled HVAC CAD Designer to join our team. As a CAD Designer, you will work closely with multi-disciplined engineering, design, and project teams to develop design drawings utilizing AutoCAD and other related products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, edit, and modify AutoCAD drawings based on design provided by engineers.
  • Develop and read reinforced concrete and steel drawings as well as mechanical and shop drawings.
  • Foundation Layout Plans
  • Concrete Foundation Detail Drawings
  • Assist with design tasks including calculations, load rating, structural modeling and analyses, detailing, quantity and cost estimates with supervision from a senior engineer.
  • Understand & meet project schedule, and quality requirements with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Actively assist in the delivery of a complete project.
Requirements
  • College Diploma (in Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology) or Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 5 or more years of relevant AutoCAD design experience.
  • High proficient use of Autodesk AutoCAD.
  • Proficient use of Inventor or SolidWorks.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, construction, and civil plans.
  • Experience with structural steel, reinforced concrete or steel plate.
  • Understanding of engineering principles and assembly, fabrication, and construction workflows.
  • Knowledge of project management software and computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
