**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Student Hardware Clerk - Sales and Service. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales process.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide information, assistance, and service to customers in a manner that promotes the sale of merchandise and meets their needs, requirements, and expectations.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Order merchandise for assigned areas as directed by the Hardware Manager, adhering to Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures.
  • Receive merchandise as directed by the Hardware Manager, adhering to Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures.
  • Stock shelves and display merchandise as directed by the Hardware Manager, adhering to Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures.
  • Familiarize yourself with and adhere to Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures, including working in a diverse environment.
  • Operate the point-of-sale terminal and prepare daily cash reconciliations when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Hardware Manager.

**Requirements:**

  • Ability to work with co-workers and public.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects.
  • Must be able to work with computers.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised.
