Job Title: Application Integration Specialist

CB Canada is currently seeking an experienced Application Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for planning, deploying, testing, and maintaining applications within our existing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with our agile team to plan, deploy, test, and maintain applications into the existing ecosystem working with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Work with vendors to resolve issues that cannot be readily addressed using in-house resources.
  • Maintain and improve the performance of existing software.
  • Resolve operational problems, handle escalated issues as reported through our service desk and follow up on outstanding items promptly.
  • Build and maintain documentation.
  • Contribute to project meetings and report on issues statuses.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Hands-on experience of basic Linux system admin (CentOS, Ubuntu…), virtualization (VMWare and container technologies, Proxmox…) and cloud computing.
  • Strong working knowledge of programming/scripting and the development tools (Python, API, Git).
  • Solid expertise in automation solution (Ansible).
  • Deep knowledge of fault management tool (such as Zabbix), iLO (HP Oneview) and hardware specs.
  • Working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, proxy, Firewall) in medium or large environment.
  • Knowledge of asset management (IPAM), and logging techs (Graylog).
  • Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS or GCP).
  • Excellent analytical and research skills.
