We're partnering with a high-growth, acquisitive software company to add a seasoned finance professional to their team. As a key member of the finance leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team and playing a critical role in strategic initiatives.
If you are a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with a proven track record of coaching and developing staff, and possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, this role could be an excellent fit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the integration process following a significant acquisition
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and period-end reporting
- Provide in-depth analysis of product performance and profitability
- Ensure a seamless and efficient month-end close process
- Manage financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities
- Lead, coach, and supervise a team of finance professionals
- Execute special projects and initiatives as required by the Director of Finance
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation from a major public accounting firm
- A minimum of 4 years of post-graduation experience, including at least 1 year at a Manager level with team supervision
- A strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
