Position Overview:

Our client, a reputable civil design and engineering consulting firm, is seeking a skilled professional in the field of water resources engineering. This role is pivotal in managing various projects across Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Studies: Conduct and prepare comprehensive studies related to servicing and stormwater management.
  • Design Planning: Strategize and draft plans for stormwater management systems and land development initiatives.
  • Project Leadership: Provide expert guidance to both internal teams and clients throughout the construction process, ensuring projects adhere to timelines and budgets.
  • Team Management: Assist in overseeing junior staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in software such as Civil3D, PCSWMM, Visual OTTHYMO, and HEC-RAS is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in servicing and stormwater management within land development engineering.
  • Eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer or Civil Engineering Technologist in Alberta.
  • Strong professional communication skills.
  • Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to conduct site visits as required.
Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $120,000, depending on experience.
