Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Contaminated Sites Scientist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold an undergraduate degree or applied technical diploma in environmental science, hydrology, physical geography, earth science, chemistry, water resources, or equivalent areas of practice.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-graduation experience in contaminated sites.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, track progress on multiple tasks, manage logistics, and meet budgets and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the contaminated sites regulatory environment in Alberta and experience with sampling protocols.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with a relevant professional body would be an asset.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication, with proficiency in word processing, data analysis, and data presentation.
  • Willingness to travel and work remotely.
  • Valid driver's licence.
