About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at MyHealthCare Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compounding and Dispensing: Assist in the preparation and packaging of pharmaceutical products, including compounding oral solutions, ointments, and creams.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventories of medications and prescription records, ensuring that all products are properly stored and secured.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, workflow, and general clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order and manage supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available to support pharmacy operations.
  • Quality Control: Participate in quality control measures to ensure that all products and services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Experience in a pharmacy or related field is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy is essential.
