Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Auberge du Pommier. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a positive guest experience through exceptional customer service, preparation of beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving beverages with a smile.
  • Prepare high-quality beverages to our standards, including coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the grab & go area, to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and concerns.
  • Follow all food safety standards and systems to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side duties efficiently and safely.

Requirements

  • Prior barista experience is an asset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • High attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Passionate about customer service and providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational skills and sales ability.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to engage our guests.
