Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional mental health care services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, promote evidence-based practices, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families, promote health and wellness, and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with the interprofessional care team, communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Education and Experience: Graduation from an approved School of Nursing, one year of recent related mental health experience, and current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong assessment and intervention skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in relevant computer applications.
