Project Controls Engineer

Join Kiewit, a leading construction and mining company, as a Project Controls Engineer. In this role, you will support construction activities by planning, organizing, and implementing project controls systems, engineering interfaces, subcontract and materials management, purchasing, and scheduling.
Responsibilities:- Develop a complete understanding of contract plans and specifications.
- Inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost-saving measures.
- Take corrective actions as needed.
- Inspect subordinates' work for compliance with contract plans and specifications.
- Develop and maintain the project master schedule using appropriate techniques and scheduling software.
- Manage document control, receive and log in new issue drawings and contract documents.
- Review new issue drawings and contract documents for change of conditions.
- Prepare monthly cost projections and quarterly cash flow projections.
- Improve project operations by recommending better methods, staffing, and procedural changes.
- Act as managing project engineer/coordinator on multiple projects.
- Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience and education.
- Professional Engineer designation strongly recommended.
- 5+ years of experience in construction or engineering field.
- Demonstrated willingness to relocate.
- Infrastructure/Heavy Civil project experience required.
