We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Medicine at Fraser Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients and collect information from various sources to inform nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote person-centered care, patient advocacy, and empowerment.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and implementing evidence-based practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply evidence-based practices and research findings.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information, and adhere to professional standards and codes of conduct.
