Procurement Specialist

At PIIC Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Officer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.
Key Responsibilities:- Purchase equipment, materials, and services that meet the requirements of our establishment.
- Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
- Negotiate offers from suppliers and consult with them to ensure the best possible deals.
- Review quotations and determine contract terms and conditions.
- Award contracts to appropriate parties and establish delivery schedules.
- Monitor progress of delivery schedules and contact clients and suppliers to resolve any issues.
- Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure that our clients receive the best possible service.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Free parking available.
- Learning/training paid by employer.
- Permanent employment with 30-35 hours per week.
- English as the primary language of work.
