Take Flight Contracting Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Framer-Carpenter to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers a chance to work in a variety of construction settings.
Employment Details- Employment Duration: Permanent
- Working Language: English
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Work Environment- Work at heights
- Exposure to noisy conditions
- Outdoor work
This role is primarily within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to assess work requirements.
- Prepare layouts in accordance with building regulations, utilizing measuring instruments.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and connect materials made from wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other components.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect wall and roof structures.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
- Survey building sites and assess levels.
- Estimate costs and required materials.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and wooden structures in various facilities.
Applicants should have 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
